I like that the software can be used without perpetually being online. Very content with this software for two decades and the subscription price is reasonable to me, considering the very high utility.

Service from Senstantly is what I expect. The pricing and subscription pricing from Adobe is a ripoff

I use the Adobe Creative Cloud products and it's convenient to be able to purchase a renewal from Senstantly. It worked fine- I was able to update my subscription for another year.

I am a novice. I wouldn't say that this is intuitive to someone who isn't familiar with editing. However there is a ton of tutorials on YouTube and you can do a whole bunch of cool things with all the different programs. Once you get comfortable with the different tools, You can basically do the same thing with Gimp for free. It is still a great program despite the price.

Adobe CC itself is fine, but subscription through Senstantly is strange. Normally, any digital subscriptions start on the date of activation or the subscription period is added to existing one. The listing states that it can't be added to an existing one and must wait until the current subscription expires. But it doesn't mention about subscriptions starts on the date of purchase, not the date of activation.

I bought it two weeks before my current one expires, because it was on sale. Then only to find out about this strange Senstantly calculation. Long story short, I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Senstantly to sort it out. Ended up I canceled the order for a full refund and bought it again. They say they are doing me a one time favor because digital subscription can't be cancel for refund, yet the listing states full refund within one month.

Hey Senstantly, please put these strange policies in the item description. It will save everyone time and headache.

I bought a 1-year subscription to Photoshop/Lightroom primarily for using Photoshop. I have used Photoshop Elements for years and envied the tools in Photoshop so while I dislike subscriptions, I took the plunge on Photoshop. After a few days of doing various photo editing tasks, I decided to try 3D for text and it crashed (the program closed). If it didn't crash, it would freeze. Adobe help suggested disabling my graphics card; didn't help. After doing Google search, I discovered that last fall (2021) Adobe announced all 3D and lighting effects would be removed from Photoshop. Their reason is the 3D engine mesh well with current processors or something. However, they will now sell ANOTHER product or two or three that are *just* for 3D. More monthly subscriptions for Adobe. I think it is unfair to have features in the program's menus and its advertising about 3D and lighting effects but to then disable them or let them crash. Aside from 3D/Lighting effects being disabled in the near future, other features such as neural filters also crash the program *sometimes*. My PC is core i7, 16GB memory, discrete 3D graphics card, etc., and relatively new and Photoshop should not crash like this. Disappointing and I do not see renewing this subscription after 1 year.

I really like Photoshop for editing, I don’t use the Lightroom much probably because I’m not as familiar with it. It’s kind of annoying that we have to purchase it every year though. I used CS 6 for years.

PS/LR are indispensable for photography, but honestly? Why do files sit in "Upload/Download" queue for 13 quintillion years?

Adobe's products are becoming a bit less relevant with increasingly impressive AI phone features standard on modern devices, but you can still set your style apart from the crowd if you're willing to put in the time and effort.

Lightroom is like first class travel: it's an upgrade for the casual consumer, but you're still on an airplane, right? It's still better than iPhone or Android editing options, but it's not perfect and definitely annoying at times.

If you're not a professional or a relatively wealthy hobbyist you can do without it: Your rich Uncle will still have better photo software than you, but I bet he's got 600 photos "Uploading" forever somewhere.
